Yeah, and he didn’t kill anybody either.

A 6-year old boy wanted to go to Applebee’s but nobody would take him.

So, he got the keys and tried to drive himself there.

WHERE’s HIS PARENTS!!???

At about 8:30 am he grabbed his grandmother’s keys, moved his booster seat from the back to the driver’s seat and put the car in reverse.

47 feet before he hit a curb.

Another 30 feet before he struck a transformer and knocked out the power in the neighborhood.

The boy won’t be charged but the car will need repairing.

And where was grandma when all this was going on?

Who knows?

Seems the former Ohio State Patrol trooper can’t keep ‘junior’ under control.

He has been charged three times with exposing his genital area while conducting driving lessons.

A 59-year old is picking on 15-year olds.

Uh…what about the first two times?

The man is out on bond pending court appearances in November and December.

Meanwhile he continues to teach kids how NOT to keep their eyes on the road.

His third court date is in January.

Let’s see…let the guy who has been accused twice of exposing himself continue to teach kids…or not….

How hard of a decision can that be?

Virgin Mobile lifted a photo from Yahoo’s photo-sharing website, Flickr and did not credit the photographer.

Virgin Mobile Australia used the picture of a 16-year old Texan girl flashing the peace sign at a church carwash in their campaign “Are You With Us or What?”

In the ad, the campaign slogan reads – “Free text virgin to virgin.”

The family of the Texas girl says their daughter has suffered grief and humiliation.

Because of why?

Something to do with becoming very very popular?

or something to do with virgin?

Religious nut cases, the Catholic kind or otherwise, can apply by email, fax or snail mail for pieces of a white garment worn by the late John Paul II, to augment their prayers.

The gown has been cut into 100,000 pieces.

The faithful also receive a ‘holy card’ and a prayer to “obtain graces through the intercession of John Paul II,’ who if I remember correctly, is dead.

Priority is given to those praying for the sick or those who are seriously sick…physically I presume, not spiritually.

The veneration of relics – a medieval practice – is back.

Wars were fought over the hunt for relics.

What happens after the 100,000 pieces have been sold? More wars?

Peaceful John would roll over in purgatory or where ever he is if that were to happen.

The Catholic church banned:

1. the sale of relics

2. usury

3. the sale of indulgences.

The sale of relics – simony – was one of the causes of the Reformation.

Maybe…maybe…it’s a good idea to sell Pope John Paul’s goods. The Catholic Church could use another reformation.

An Indiana appeals court awarded a strip club pole dancer worker’s compensation when she was injured while performing.

She might even be eligible for double compensation.

She injured her neck dancing at the Shangri-La in Fort Wayne and had to have surgery.

Shangri-La appealed – they didn’t have a worker’s compensation policy and was not approved as a self-insurer…they missed a payment said the owner.

I reckon it’s pretty hard work doing the pole dance thing.

Children Take Pole Dancing Lessons Down Under

When an Australian hospital ran out of the medical alcohol (do they have that sort of thing?) that it needed doctors fed an Italian tourist with a vodka drip-feed.

The tourist had ingested antifreeze and the treatment in such a case is pure alcohol.

However, when the hospital ran out (does anybody wonder why?)  the hospital stuck a tube through his nose and into his stomach and gave him vodka.

Doesn’t sound like much fun to me.

The man received three standard drinks an hour for three days in the IC unit…and recovered from his attempt at ’self harm.’

Meanwhile…drunkards everywhere are looking for antifreeze.

A 35-year old Japanese woman, ‘tired of taking care of’ her 2-month old son (she sure wore out fast)

1. drowned the little boy,

2. went to the other room and told her husband she wanted a divorce,

3.  then left the apartment.

She’ll get the divorce after she spends a year or so in jail.

And, she’ll get a good chance to rest from all the ‘hard work’ of taking care of a baby.

We wonder sometimes how billions of mothers elsewhere can do it.
