Police Hang Quadriplegic Man Over 4′ Wall to Search Him

Police in Pasadena yanked a quadriplegic man out of his wheel chair and hung him over a 4′ wall so they could search him.

For what, I wonder?

The police were called in for a disturbance call.

In the end, they created the disturbance.

The 4 cops were sued for

1. assault,

2. battery,

3. false arrest,

4. false imprisonment,

5. excessive force,

6. intentional infliction of emotional distress,

7. invasion of privacy and negligence.

Quadriplegic? 4 cops? Guess it makes sense somewhere.

The force was fined $78,939.12 for failing to train officers on how to handle a quadriplegic.
