Four professional football players in Korea were suspended from national matches for a year.

They were also ordered to complete 80 hours of community service.

Their offense…a midnight drinking spree during a regional tournament.

The four ball players went into a karaoke bar in Jakarta to drink off an upset loss to Bahrain and be entertained by female hostesses.

Now they get to watch from the sidelines and work to keep themselves in shape.

Were the drinks worth it boys?

World Leader Pernod Ricard Group Warns Against Drunk Driving

I’d never heard of the Pernod Ricard Group based in Paris. But then I don’t know much about booze at all except the many stupid things people do when they have too much and that I lost a brother and sister who both had too much…on different days in different places.

The CEO of Pernod Ricard was in Korea to promote “Smart Driving: Don’t Drink & Drive” campaign going into the year end holiday season in that country.

The CEO says, “his company has every reason to pay attention to that social issue. (responsible drinking).”

Indeed they do have a responsibility.

Unfortunately, the people who need to heed his warning are most likely too soused to pay attention.

Please don’t drink and drive, don’t drink and shoot, don’t drink and drop your kids from balconies…

If you drink…please, just don’t do anything else…nothing else…NOTHING!
