An African ritual is alive but not so well in NYC.
“Where some people have turkey, we’ll have monkey meat,†says a mother of nine. “I’ve been eating it all my life. It’s delicious.â€
Baptisms, Easter, Christmas, weddings….give me monkey soup, monkey sandwich, monkey pot pie.
The bushmeat is for ‘our souls.’
The woman is being tried for hitting another woman whom she suspects of messing around with her husband.
In any event, if she isn’t convicted of the hit and run and the illegal importation of bushmeat, she will surely celebrate with a monkey roast.

Not sure what the guy was selling or buying, clothes perhaps?
Police arrested a 19-year old who was driving around in his Nissan Maxima in Bakersfield, CA because after striking up a conversation with different people, he would expose himself.
Three counts of indecent exposure and one of annoying a child, and the guy is in the pokey.

Drunks make up 15% of the hotline calls police get in China….some 20 a day, and more than 3 times on weekends, festivals and holidays.
The boozed most often need help finding their way home.

About 80% of the drivers caught drunk were aware of Japan’s stiffer penalties.
Still, 40% of them felt confident cops wouldn’t catch them.
Yeah, judgement does get impaired when you have had a few. Okay, make that a couple.
The year end is party season in Japan….much like elsewhere. The police plan to get even tougher yet.
And drunks…well, they will get more and more stupid.
Most drivers caught drunk had been drinking along (59%).
Some 28% were drinking with friends and 6% with colleagues.
About 54% had been drinking at a pub and 14% drank at home before going out to get caught by police.
Almost one in five (17.6%) had misjudged that they had sobered ip enough.

A 40-year old PE teacher was arrested for groping the breast of a 15-year old schoolgirl.
He says he didn’t. The group of students standing around who saw him do it says he did.
The guy has to be pretty stupid to grab a little girl’s breast in front of her friends OR we have to be pretty stupid to believe that he was.
I wonder…
