19-floor Suicide Leap
The 22-year old checked in to the exclusive Hilton Park Lane Hotel.
Crash, bang and ouch….he sat on the ledge, bleeding with cuts to his wrist, for three hours before throwing himself off as shocked workers in nearby office blocks watched in horror.
The man wouldn’t talk to police or his girlfriend, who urged him: “Get back in. We can talk about it.”
Apparently, they couldn’t talk about it.
Not only can love be blind, it can also be deaf and stupid, too.
There is never a reason, good or bad, to take your own life.
