70-year old tries bank robbery to solve money problems
A 70-year old man used a 50-year old gun that did not work to rob a bank of $6,172.
When he was caught, he apologized to the bank teller saying he was adamant that he would not have hurt anyone.
Cooperating with police, he told them his Cleveland Browns cap was in the car so they could make a full connection.
The police captain said about the would-be robber, “Sometimes circumstances cause good people to do stupid things.”
If he goes to jail, maybe he won’t outlive his debts. If he doesn’t go to jail, chances are he will have more of them to pay if you add on the fines.
I wonder what kind of conviction he will be hoping for.
