George Washington - Words of Wisdom
Some of the best lessons I have learned in life come from people I never met.
I would like to share some of the ‘words of wisdom’ that I have picked up over the years.
George Washington said:
Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation, for ‘tis better to be alone than in bad company.
(Karl Malone said - “I used to watch inspirational videos. Now I am in one.)
To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.
(Strength is indeed a deterrent.)
Last words December 14, 1799: “It is well, I die hard, but I am not afraid to go.
(I am not afraid to die…and I am still young. How about you?)
What’s your favorite quote? and why?
