Helen Keller - Words of Wisdom
Some of the best lessons I have learned in life come from people I never met.
I would like to share some of the ‘words of wisdom’ that I have picked up over the years.
Helen Keller said:
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a while experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
(Dare or stay on the porch.)
I thank God for my handicaps, for through them, I have found myself, my work and my God.
(I, too, want to thank God for everything…eveything that comes my way.)
Keep you face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows.
(the woman was blind but still understood what a shadow was. Amazing!)
What’s your favorite quote? and why?
