Kids Click on Adult Channel…Mom Gets $85K from Motel
A TN woman sued the motel where she and her kids stayed because her preteen daughters accidentally clicked on an adult channel.
The girls 7 and 8 hit the wrong button according to mom and -
“Mommy, why is she grunting?”
“Mommy, is that how you and daddy…..?”
Mom unplugged the TV, stayed the night and left the next day.
A month later…mommy thought, maybe, just maybe she can make some money off of it.
She was right…she was awarded $85K because the motel only blocked access if they were asked to.
The woman’s attorney - “She wasn’t as concerned about the money as she was in making a point.”
Yeah, right…it wasn’t about the money.
