Belgium on Sale on eBay – gets bid of $17 million

The country of Belgium:

1. has a large national debt

2. is facing a political crisis

3. may be losing its status as a federal state

4. was put up for sale on eBay

Before the online auction company realized it, the top bid had reached $17 million.

However, my bid was rejected because my neighbor, eBay, says “it cannot host the sale of anything virtual or unrealistic.”

Dang it…I had big dreams for Silicon Valley with Belgium, too.
