Buddha Exposes Penis and Testicles

There’s a Buddha on display  in the window of the Saint Giles Street Gallery in Norwich.

Detectives from a ‘hate crime unit’ have ordered the keeper of Buddha to have him do a permanent about face.

A banana and eggs strategically placed to look like a penis and nuts were causing causing religious offence to passers-by and complaints came in to the police station.

A compromise that ensured freedom of artistic expression and which prevented offence being caused was reached when Buddha was turned around.

Uh…and what are Buddha’s thoughts on this matter, I wonder?

Right…it’s just a piece of stone.
