Usage of cell phone in N Korea could make you war criminal
The country of North Korea is already known for being bit weird on many ways. Recently the usage of cell phone in the country is banned or you will be branded as a war criminal.
After the death of Kim Jong II’s death, those who are found using a cell phone or found attempting to cross the border during the mandatory 100 day mourning period will be punished. After the unfortunate death of Kim, thousands of people have attempted to escape due to the dwindling of food reserves and also abject poverty.
More than 1 million residents own a cell phone in the country. The flow of information from in and out of the secretive country has been stifled.
Though the ban has been put for a mandatory 100 days, but it is now up to the son Kim Jong un to decide whether to allow the usage of cell phones after the mourning period. When Kim Jong II had died the locals claimed that even the animals had mourned the death of their king.
