Wedding dress made out of toilet paper
Every year ‘Cheap Chic Weddings’, a website based on weddings in the US, hosts a Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest. The contestants are allowed to use only a few tools like glue, tape and toilet paper.
At the most the contestants are allowed to sew the dress with a needle and thread. Susan Bain the co-founder of Cheap Chic Weddings, said that the contestants are given six weeks time to create the wedding dress out of toilet paper.
The contestants submit the photographs of the dresses, after which they are carefully judged. Bain said that on an average, the contestants use some 40 rolls to make the dress, but there were also some contestants who intelligently used just four rolls for the dress.
The contestants are judged on the basis of beauty, creativity, originality and the use of toilet paper. Bain also added that the dress must be worn by the model and should be taken off without falling apart.
