You Say Turkey, I say Monkey Meat

An African ritual is alive but not so well in NYC.

“Where some people have turkey, we’ll have monkey meat,” says a mother of nine. “I’ve been eating it all my life. It’s delicious.”

The bushmeat is for ‘our souls.’

The woman is being tried for hitting another woman whom she suspects of messing around with her husband.

In any event, if she isn’t convicted of the hit and run and the illegal importation of bushmeat, she will surely celebrate with a monkey roast.
